Nephilia
Why investor preparation left the advisory practice — and runs as a standalone product.
Nephilia went live in September 2026. It answers a single question: which investors are the right ones for this specific round — in what order, and on what grounds. The answer is reasoned rather than listed, and it arrives over MCP inside the AI assistant the work already happens in.
In every mandate this was the same piece of work: checking what a fund has actually backed rather than what its website claims. Spotting where a portfolio already holds a competitor. Judging who is signing at all this quarter. It is the part that decides whether an approach has substance — and the part that reliably goes undone, because it costs days.
That work does not scale through a calendar. It scales through a system that does it to the same depth every time.
So Nephilia is deliberately not an advisory offer. It takes no conversation, no appointment and no waiting; it answers the question before a meeting would have to ask it. What comes from me is the method — which evidence counts, what is an exclusion and what is merely a flag. That is the origin, not the operation. The product runs without me, and that is the requirement rather than the compromise.
Nephilia covers the European early-stage market. Coverage, how it works and pricing are documented there — including a demo that runs on real data.
How Nephilia came about is the subject of my conversation with Jan Thomas on Startup Insider (in German): Launch Nephilia: Select investors via MCP directly within your own AI assistant.
